| Receptions, Parties and Other Events (not wedding ceremonies): Fees are charged by the hour, so will vary depending on the length of your event. The following fee schedule is effective for events up to three hours long. Anything after three hours will be charged at a slightly higher per hour rate as it becomes more difficult to stay "on" for so long! Solo (violin or cello): $150 for first hour. $75 for each additional hour. Duo (two violins, violin/viola, or violin/cello): $275 for the first hour. $150 for each additional hour. Trio (two violins/cello or violin/viola/cello): $400 for the first hour. $225 for each additional hour. String Quartet (two violins/viola/cello): $525 for the first hour. $300 for each additional hour. If the event is more than 15 miles from St. Louis, a mileage surcharge may be added. | Wedding Ceremonies: Fees depend on kind of service. For a Catholic ceremony or another religious ceremony that would be longer than 30 minutes, please refer further down in the chart. These fees are just a guideline and are subject to change. Please contact me with any questions. Note that our fees for ceremonies do reflect a discount on price or time from our hourly rates above. Basic Wedding Ceremony: Includes up to 30 minutes of prelude, ceremony, and short postlude (2 to 3 pieces). No more than 1 hour 15 minutes of total time, may be less depending on length of ceremony. Solo: $150 Duo: $275 Trio: $400 String Quartet: $525 Catholic mass or other longer wedding ceremony: Includes 15 minutes of prelude, ceremony, and short postlude (1 or 2 pieces). Also includes short rehearsal (15 to 20 minutes before prelude) with the music director, organist, or cantor if necessary.
